Helping You Succeed
If you are interested in MCL-Collection software, we invite you to try it before you buy it. Many of our products run in Demo Mode when you install and run them without any license activation.
Also, if you are waiting for the delivery of an order of hardware devices and MCL software, take advantage of MCL’s demo mode to get started on your project today!
Give MCL-Designer a test drive!
MCL-Designer includes several demo applications to acquaint you with its features and capabilities. In demo mode you can:
View or modify the existing demo applications
Connect to your ODBC database
Use files or look-up data on a remote server
Simulate and interact with the application
Test and debug your application via the Debugger
Demonstrate your application, via the Simulator, to a customer or management
Easily switch your application from one targeted device to another
What’s more, you can do all this before you purchase any hardware or software.
Be aware that an application created in MCL-Designer demo mode cannot be run on a physical device. To see how the application works, run it in MCL-Designer’s Simulator.
To get started on your test drive, download and install MCL-Designer Engine and the MCL-Designer Device Plug-in (DDP) for your targeted device. Then, run MCL-Designer. The first screen to be displayed prompts you to Activate MCL-Designer or run it in Demo Mode; select demo mode.
MCL-Designer will run in demo mode indefinitely — no time expiration; no 30-day limitations.
You have been working on your application (project) in demo mode. You now receive your order of hardware devices and MCL software and want to see how your application runs on a device. Simply license activate MCL-Designer, run the licensed MCL-Designer, open your application, and then save it. Your application is now ready to be 'Sent' to and run on your supported device.
If you install, but do not license activate MCL-Client on a device, MCL-Client will run in demo mode. This means that if you download an application that was created using a licensed, fully activated version of MCL-Designer, your application will run on the device for a few minutes uninterrupted. Thereafter, screens will be displayed to remind you that you are running the application in demo mode.
MCL-Link’s demo mode is a ‘send only’ mode. You can download applications (projects) and data files from the PC to a device, but you cannot receive information back from the device.
In demo mode, MCL-Net is fully functional for up to five (5) users. We have placed no restrictions on its capabilities. However, it will shut down after running for one hour. If necessary, you may restart it again in demo mode. It will run for an hour each time you restart it.
Like MCL-Designer, 123 Print allows you to create and simulate applications in demo mode. However, also like MCL-Designer, the application you create cannot be run on a physical device.
You have been working on your application (project) in demo mode. You now receive your 123 Print software license. Simply license activate and run 123 Print, open your application, and then save it. Your application is now ready to be 'Sent' to and run on your supported device.
In demo mode, this software is fully functional for one operator only. No other restrictions exist.
