Its V2 products support a range of early — DR-DOS, Palm O/S, Pocket PC, Win CE 3.x — Symbol devices, the Symbol Phaser, and Symbol S24 wireless networks — a proprietary wireless network that predates the introduction of WiFi standards. If you have a legacy DR-DOS terminal installation using MCL V2 and want to upgrade your hardware and software, be aware that MCL-Collection provides a forward migration path for you to port your legacy applications to MCL V3 and the newer generation of devices. If, on the other hand, you find that those old legacy devices still do the job just fine, MCL Technologies can still help you. In fact, due to customer demand, MCL Technologies continues to make its old V2 products available. Please be aware, however, that MCL Technologies no longer maintains these products… in other words, these products are what they are… MCL-Collection’s development environment for creating applications for Symbol DR-DOS, Palm O/S, Pocket PC 2000, Pocket PC 2002 and Windows CE 3.x devices. Add-on component to MCL-Designer V3 to upgrade MCL projects from Symbol DR-DOS terminals to Motorola Windows Mobile devices MCL-Collection’s development environment for creating applications for Symbol Phaser Communications server. Software for batch, point-to-point serial uploads and downloads over RS232 or modem. For applications created using MCL-Designer V2. Uses a different protocol than MCL-Link V3. Communications server.
